Retail Customer Service Manager – Ladbrokes & Coral

As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier service, shaping our shops into thriving hubs where customers thrive and our business wins.
Working with Ladbrokes & Coral, you’ll join a dynamic, creative team in our entertaining betting shops, where no two days are the same. Together, we set high standards, nurture customer loyalty, and create a welcoming environment—because with Entain, your ambition fuels our success.
Responsibilities
As part of the Shop team under the supervision of the Shop Manager, your daily focus is on customer-first excellence:
- Exceptional customer service – Build positive relationships and drive repeat patronage.
- Promote safer gambling – Advocate responsible betting with compassion.
- Take bets across diverse sports & events – From live matches to specialised leagues.
- Handle daily transactions – Cash management, payments, and ticketing.
- Introduce products & betting terminals – Guide customers efficiently and professionally.
- Manage complaints competently – Resolve disputes with empathy and problem-solving skills.
- Achieve targets – Meet and exceed sales and service objectives.
- Maintain shop quality – Uphold virtual and physical standards of cleanliness, presentation, and security.
- Open & close the shop – As a key holder, you’ll balance shifts from morning through to final close.

Working Patterns
Shifts Monday to Sunday, 8am – 10pm, including weekends and bank holidays. Typical weekly hours: 7, varying weekly (long mornings, long closer, and evening shifts).
Flexibility Your rotas are shared at least 4 weeks in advance. Each manager controls their own schedule, ensuring a balance with support.
Key responsibilities As a key holder, you may be called upon to open and close the shop, depending on the location.
Requirements
✅ Age: Must be 18 years or older to work in our betting shops.
✅ Skills & Personal Attributes

- Strong communicator with an engaging personality.

- Team collaborator – equally confident working solo or as part of a squad.
