The Role: Retail Customer Service Manager
You’ll play a vital part in the Entain family, delivering outstanding customer service and fostering operational excellence within our dynamic Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops. Every day brings new challenges, and our collaborative team thrives on performance while putting customers first.

- Location: Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops
- Starter Salary: £13.00 per hour
- Hours: Rules-intensive role, varied timing (see below)

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service – Ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.
- Promote safer gambling – Prioritise responsible betting ethos at all times.
- Take and process bets – For major sports, minor sports, and events across terminals.
- Operate cash handling – Safely process transactions, from receipts to reconciliations.
- Demonstrate products & terminals – Guide customers effectively, getting them comfortable with our betting platforms.
- Handle customer concerns – Neutralise complaints and resolve issues with empathy, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Drive sales growth – Meet and exceed defined targets consistently.
- Maintain shop standards – Uphold cleanliness, equipment functionality, and stock management.
- Operate shop – Open and close the venue independently.

Working Patterns
Each of our shops operates from Monday to Sunday, 8am–10pm, depending on the location. This includes weekends and bank holidays.
Your typical weekly schedule is 16 hours, made up of long opening or closing shifts and shorter evening shifts. Rotations vary weekly, ensuring variety.
We are committed to transparency and fairness—rotas for each financial month will be provided at least four weeks in advance, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Requirements
To thrive in this role:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing environment (customer service, sales, cash handling, etc.).
- Confidence in direct customer interactions—positive rapport is essential.
- Familiarity with cash handling and payments processing.
