Retail Customer Service Manager – Ladbrokes Coral Betting Shop (£13.00/hour)

About the Role

As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you will be an integral part of the Entain family, delivering top customer service and driving standards daily. In our exciting, dynamic Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops, no two days are the same. You’ll contribute to a team that wins together and does what’s right by our customers.
Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will:
- Support customers
- Build rapport to encourage repeat custom
- Lead as part of the Shop team

Your Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Promote safer gambling consistently
- Take bets across a wide range of sports and events
- Process customer transactions (including cash handling)
- Demonstrate products and betting terminals
- Handle customer complaints and concerns with empathy and problem-solving skills
- Work towards defined targets and goals
- Maintain the highest shop standards
- Open or close the shop as needed when acting as a key holder
Working Patterns
This role requires availability:
- Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM (including weekends and bank holidays)
Workload & Rota Details
- Typical weekly hours: 15 hours
- Shifts include:
- Long opening/closing shifts (after training)
- Shorter evening shifts
- rota will vary weekly
- As a key holder, you’ll be responsible for opening and closing
- Rota provided at least four weeks in advance

Requirements
Essential
- 18 years of age or over
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Can operate independently or within a team
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and professionalism
