Retail Customer Service Manager – Ladbrokes Coral Betting Shop (£13.00/hour)

About the Role

Do you love sports or have a passion for great customer service? Do you enjoy forming positive relationships?

As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you will be an integral part of the Entain family, delivering top customer service and driving standards daily. In our exciting, dynamic Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops, no two days are the same. You’ll contribute to a team that wins together and does what’s right by our customers.

Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will:

  • Support customers
  • Build rapport to encourage repeat custom
  • Lead as part of the Shop team

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Promote safer gambling consistently
  • Take bets across a wide range of sports and events
  • Process customer transactions (including cash handling)
  • Demonstrate products and betting terminals
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns with empathy and problem-solving skills
  • Work towards defined targets and goals
  • Maintain the highest shop standards
  • Open or close the shop as needed when acting as a key holder

Working Patterns

This role requires availability:

  • Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM (including weekends and bank holidays)

Workload & Rota Details

  • Typical weekly hours: 15 hours
  • Shifts include:
    • Long opening/closing shifts (after training)
    • Shorter evening shifts
    • rota will vary weekly
  • As a key holder, you’ll be responsible for opening and closing
  • Rota provided at least four weeks in advance

Requirements

Essential

  • 18 years of age or over
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Can operate independently or within a team
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and professionalism
