Who are we:
Established in 1959, O’Reillys Wholesale is one of the leading distributors of confectionery, grocery, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and the UK. With over six decades of industry expertise, we have built a reputation for delivering exceptional service, competitive value, and trusted partnerships.
Through our affiliations with major independent buying groups and our long-standing relationships with leading suppliers, we have the flexibility and purchasing power to secure the best deals for our customers. Our extensive portfolio includes more than 6,000 products, serving both domestic retail and international export markets. As consumer needs continue to evolve, so does our product offering, ensuring we remain at the forefront of emerging trends and market demands.
In addition to our wholesale operations, we have recently launched MyDaily, an exciting new convenience retail symbol group that is being rolled out across the island of Ireland. Built around our promise of “convenience you can depend on,” MyDaily represents a fresh and innovative approach to community retailing. We work closely with independent retailers to provide the support, expertise, and brand strength of a recognised wholesaler, while enabling stores to retain their local identity and connection to the communities they serve.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
