Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
- Prepare and present fresh, seasonal dishes to consistently high standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate junior members of the kitchen team.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Assist with menu planning, stock management, ordering, and cost control.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment at all times.
About The Role
This position is ideal for an experienced Sous Chef or an ambitious Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step within contract catering. You'll gain valuable experience in a busy retail catering operation while developing your skills in a structured, professional, and supportive environment that encourages career progression.
