About the Role
As a Retail Manager, you take ownership of your area and lead it with clarity, confidence and purpose. You are a constant presence on the shop floor, guiding your team through the standards, behaviours and service moments that define the Harrods experience.
- You build capability through regular coaching, clear expectations and a culture where feedback is part of everyday performance.
- You use data and insight to understand your business, anticipate opportunities and act decisively.
- You ensure operational excellence is upheld, from service delivery to stock flow to the Brilliant Basics that underpin our reputation.
- Working closely with your General Retail Manager, you help shape the vision for your department and take full accountability for delivering it.
Your leadership directly influences sales, customer experience and team engagement. In a fast‑moving luxury environment, you bring focus, resilience and a commitment to continuous improvement.
About You
You are a leader who brings out the best in others. You set high standards and support your team to reach them, creating a culture where people feel motivated, trusted and encouraged to grow. You understand the importance of psychological safety and know how to balance empathy with accountability. You’re commercially astute, confident interpreting data and comfortable making decisions that drive performance.
