Retail Manager

Retail Manager - Volkswagen Dealership, Stratford-upon-Avon

Key Details

  • Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
  • Operation: Monday to Saturday (with a day off in the week)
  • Sundays: Regular rota basis (10am – 5pm)
  • Daily Hours: 8.30am – 6pm (Mon–Fri), 9am – 5pm (Sat)
  • Compensation:
    • OTE: £62,200
    • Company car included
    • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Role & Responsibilities

As Retail Manager at Listers Volkswagen Dealership, you will:

  • Drive all aspects of retail profit, specialising in finance, insurance, and value-added products.
  • Be the core liaison for customer inquiries, assisting in sales team management and professional growth.
  • Provide financial consultancy, advising customers on:
    • Vehicle financing options
    • Insurance packages
    • Warranties and dealership services
  • Ensure clarity on contractual obligations for customers, delivering FCA-compliant advice.
  • Train and support the sales team, fostering professional development.
  • Propose financial agreements to approved lenders, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all submissions.
  • Maintain a zero-defect environment for finance and warranty documentation protocols.

About You

Ideal Candidates Have:

  • Retail/management experience (new entrants welcome if excelling in sales/compliance).
  • Exceptional sales track record, with outstanding achievement in finance sales.
  • Strong financial literacy and unwavering attention to FCA compliance for all deals.
  • Organisational and communicative skills with attention to detail.
  • – Automotive/Motor Trade Preference: While experience is ideal, full training provided.
  • Drawn to: finance, insurance, customer service and dealer profit strategies.
