About the Role
We're looking for a passionate, creative and commercially minded Retail & Marketing Lead to become a key part of our growing business.
This is a unique role that combines retail sales, creative marketing and leadership on the shop floor. You'll spend a significant proportion of your time delivering an exceptional customer experience, building relationships with customers and driving sales. When not serving customers, you'll take ownership of our social media, refresh creative content across our Shopify website and help bring our brand to life both in store and online.
As one of the senior members of our team, you'll play a key role in leading the shop floor. You'll help set the pace each day, maintain exceptional standards and support the wider sales team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. We're looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, leads by example and enjoys motivating others to perform at their best.
We're open to offering this role on either a 4 or 5 day per week basis. As this is a retail role, availability to work one weekend day each week is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves retail, enjoys being creative and wants to make a genuine impact within a growing independent business.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand
- Plan, create and manage engaging content across our social media platforms.
- Design high quality marketing assets using Adobe InDesign and other creative software.
- Photograph and create content that reflects our brand and products.
- Develop creative campaigns that showcase our products and tell our brand story.
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions and in store events.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
