Manpower are currently seeking an interim Retail Media Executive, to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full-time temporary role to run for until 30/06/2027, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, to start ASAP. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £42,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

Our multi-billion Foods business is powered by a range of much-loved products. These include bouillons & seasonings from Knorr, mini meals from Pot Noodle, and condiments led by Hellmann’s, the world’s number one mayonnaise brand. We are also home to Unilever Food Solutions, our chef-to-chef business that provides professional kitchens all over the world with products and end-to-end solutions from Knorr Professional and Hellmann’s.
JOB PURPOSE
This role sits in the UKI Foods CMC (Content, Media, Commerce team), as a key member to help us grow our business together. CMC team members are marketing and commerce experts responsible for creating unmissable omnichannel experiences. We are an energised, young spirited, integrated team that sets the business up to take full advantage of the growth opportunities and thrives to stay ahead of the curve. The role will also connect into our Unilever Retail Execution team, who are responsible for the execution of our plans within retailers.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a number of our Foods retail media executional plans, delivering end to end deployment of our retail media activations in store. The successful candidate will attend various monthly meetings to share learnings and upcoming plans with stakeholders across the business.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the execution of the retail media marketing for a number of brand campaigns across multiple retailers. Responsible for managing the campaign process end to end, from strategy, planning, execution and evaluation.
- Lead for creative consistency for all relevant campaigns, ensuring they are aligned to brand creative toolkits.
- Ensure the plans are aligned to the brand and category objectives within retail marketing for the relevant brands and retailers.
- Work collaboratively with the broader team, to ensure all retail execution plans are integrated into the broader campaign and delivered on time in full.
- Work closely with customer teams to ensure plans align with their priorities.
- Lead in retail media measurement, ensuring all campaigns are delivering against agreed KPI’s and using learnings to shape future strategy.
- Manage budget tracking for all relevant retail media activity & ensure alignment to forecasts.
- Keep on top of industry developments and in store activations, to help us lead the way in creative inspiration and stay on top of emerging trends.
- Represent the Foods retail media team in monthly forums as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experience working in FMCG retail media is preferred, but not essential. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Project management; with ability to land multiple campaigns and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Business & commercial acumen; proven experience of budget management and forecasting, as well as communication with commercial teams.
- Data analysis; be able to confidently analyse data and report back to the business key learnings.
- A passion for the shopper; curious about Shoppers and their behaviours.
- Creative; have an ‘eye’ for creative excellence, ensuring our in-store touchpoints showcase the best of our brand creatives.
- Strong communicator; strong verbal and written communications skills with attention to detail.
- Team player; be able to land projects and campaigns within a highly ambitious team.
- External agency or client management; able to confidently brief and work with agencies and build relationships.
Kingston working environment:
- Contractors who are based at Kingston will be eligible to get free parking at a local carpark

- A Gym is available for use on the Ground Floor (with subscription).
- Facilities in the gym include cardiovascular equipment, resistance machines, spin bikes, free weights area, boxing equipment and a stretch/matted area. Classes are also available and can be booked directly with the Gym. Shower facilities are available in the changing rooms, along with hairdryers.
