Retail Media Lead

London (Hybrid) | Permanent

Our client is one of the UK's fastest-growing digital consumer businesses, with a large, highly engaged first-party audience and relationships with thousands of leading brands. Following significant investment into Retail Media, they're looking for a Retail Media Lead to help build the next phase of their proposition.

This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal point in the company's Retail Media journey, working directly alongside the Retail Media Director to build scalable capabilities, launch new initiatives and influence the long-term direction of one of the UK's most exciting Retail Media propositions.

The Opportunity

  • Join a high-growth business investing significantly in Retail Media, audience monetisation and commercial innovation.
  • Work directly with an experienced Retail Media Director to shape strategy and deliver high-impact initiatives across the business.
  • Help build the next generation of Retail Media capabilities across ad tech, measurement, audience products and commercial operations.
  • Operate across Product, Engineering, Data, Commercial and Partnerships, driving transformation in a highly visible leadership role.
  • Play a key role in influencing how Retail Media evolves within a business with significant investment and ambitious growth plans.

  • Support the development and execution of the Retail Media roadmap.
  • Drive strategic initiatives that accelerate Retail Media growth and commercial performance.
  • Identify new monetisation opportunities across audience, advertising and partner propositions.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Retail Media products, capabilities and commercial offerings.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Commercial and Partnership teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Lead projects from concept through to execution, ensuring alignment across multiple business functions.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making across the organisation.
  • Remove blockers and maintain momentum across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Commercial & Operational Excellence

  • Help develop scalable Retail Media operating models and ways of working.
  • Support pricing strategy, measurement frameworks and reporting capabilities.
  • Drive governance across strategic programmes and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
  • Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across the Retail Media function.

Your Profile

  • Experience within Retail Media, Commerce Media, AdTech, Digital Commerce or Marketplace environments.
  • Strong understanding of Retail Media operating models and commercial ecosystems.
  • Experience delivering complex cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Data and Commercial teams.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and driving change in fast-paced environments.
  • Passionate about building new capabilities and helping businesses scale.
