Retail Electrical/Mechanical Engineer (Night Shift) – Dunbia
About the Role

We achieve this through sustainable sourcing and high-quality meat processing while fostering career development for passionate individuals.
Drug-Dunbia is actively seeking multi-skilled engineers eager to grow with a dynamic food processing business. Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, this role focuses on Night Engineering Operations in our Retail business, catering to both domestic and international markets.
Key provision: We welcome recently qualified candidates looking to develop their skills in a progressive environment.
Working Arrangements
Operate on a four-on/four-off rolling shift pattern (1800–0630).

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance, fault finding, and repairs across production departments
- Support Engineering/Production operations as needed, including:
- Moving and re-installing machinery
- Machine changeovers and setup
- Check sheet compliance
- Liaising with external contractors when necessary
- Maintain strong working relationships with key site personnel
- Mentor and train single-skilled engineers
- Strict adherence to:
- Company policies and procedures
- Health & Safety legislation
Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience
- Multi-skilled with both Electrical and Mechanical expertise (preferred)
- Strong proven track record in a similar multi-skilled engineering role
- Formal engineering qualifications (e.g., 17th Edition Wiring Regulations)
- Basic knowledge of meat processing environments (training provided)

- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Adaptable to flexible, shift-based hours and willing to work additional hours to support business needs
- Welding skill would be advantageous (full training provided)
