Saturday Retail Sales Advisor
Role: Friendly and reliable Saturday Retail Sales Advisor Location: Haslemere, UK Hours: 8 hours per week Salary: £13.48 per hour + pension and company benefits

About the Role
Join our proud 120+ year heritage—Brewers Decorator Centres, the UK’s largest independent supplier of decorating materials. Ranked in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026, we’re a family-owned business with over 250 stores nationwide.
We’re seeking a customer-focused Sales Advisor for our iconic Haslemere store, a decades-old hub beloved by the local community. The store specialises in:
- Wallpapers, blinds, and curtains
- A full range of designer and trade paints
- Essential decorating tools and accessories
- In-branch internet terminals for direct product ordering
- Extensive showroom experience for customers
Our community-driven store operates:
- Monday to Friday: 7am–5pm
- Saturday: 8am–5pm (your working day)
Responsibilities
As a Retail Sales Advisor at Brewers, you will:
- Deliver exceptional service to maintain our reputation for quality Brewers service
- Build customer relationships to understand and fulfil their decorating needs
- Provide product recommendations informed by your growing expertise (training provided)
- Mix paint orders, process specialist requests, and coordinate stock requests across the Branch network
- Promote seasonal/special items, merchandise displays to enhance visibility and sales
- Assist with stock maintenance, unloading deliveries, and stock distribution
- Cover roles Fire Marshall and/or First Aider as training/requirements evolve

Key Requirements
We’re looking for:
- Customer service excellence: Translating requests into tailored product recommendations
- Approachable, friendly personality: Friendly to both customers and colleagues
- Team player but able to work independently with reliability
- Keen to learn: Commitment to training, development, and progression in retail
- Willingness to train: For roles like Fire Marshalling & First Aid
Note: Previous retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but not required.
