Role Overview

Our Retail Sales Advisors are at the heart of our business, acting as our biggest brand ambassadors. Often the first point of contact for customers visiting our network of showrooms, they are both inspired and empowered to support our customers in growing their homes by assisting them in choosing the perfect pieces of furniture and accessories from our broad range of products. They achieve this by being commercially minded and adopting a consultative sales approach, using their expert knowledge of our comprehensive product range to deliver an exceptional experience on every occasion.

This commitment to high performance is recognised and rewarded through our generous, industry-leading uncapped commission scheme, ensuring that all our Retail colleagues are rewarded for their dedication and hard work.

  • Consistently achieve personal sales and performance KPIs, supporting the showroom team to collectively reach outstanding business performance goals.
  • Adopt a one-team approach by working closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to create an inclusive team culture aligned with our purpose and values, always displaying our expected behaviours.

  • Stay updated and commercially aware of internal and external factors that may impact business trade and customer experience.
  • Utilise all training materials and internal communications to ensure own knowledge of Oak Furnitureland’s products and services is current, enhancing both personal and team performance.

  • Recommend and utilise digital resources and marketing tools to create a seamless omnichannel customer journey and aid informed purchase decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
