Retail Sales Advisor (F/T 37.5h)

Overview

Fitshop UK are looking for a part-time Retail Sales Advisor to support the manager in achieving targets, delivering great customer service and supporting the day to day running of the Camberley store.

We need our Retail Sales team to be confident, polite and personable individuals with outstanding communication skills to provide a first class Customer journey in store (and on the telephone when appropriate).

Retail Sales Advisor Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a first class customer journey and in-store sales experience by being approachable and delivering friendly customer service
  • Achieve and exceed daily, monthly and annual sales targets
  • Building an in-depth knowledge of our products and services to enable to provide outstanding support customers
  • Confidently managing the full customer journey with ease in order to delight the customer with the aim to impact our trust pilot score positively alongside ensuring repeat business
  • Work with the store manager and assistant manager to replenish stock, visual merchandising and ensuring stock remains clean and well presented
  • Support with stock checks and changes to shop layout as directed by the retail management team
  • When trained, comply with the cash handling requirements and cash reconciliation and banking procedures
  • Support by bringing ideas and implementing footfall driving activities such as demonstrations, price promotions and any other marketing activity
  • Maintain a safe environment on the shop floor for the team and customers
  • When trained, be a key holder for the store and adhere to security and safety requirements
  • Continuous personal improvement; constantly striving to grow and develop self and team; deliver and support with any relevant training, preparation of manuals etc.

In addition to the working with a great store team, you will connect with other retail stores, sales, customer care and our warehouse team.

You Will Need

  • To maintain a calm, confident and enthusiastic manner when dealing with Customers
  • To be able to make recommendations to customers and close sales
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understand the customer journey and how to create a welcoming store environment
  • To generate sales
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team
  • To use own initiative and be self-motivated
