Sales Assistant/Consultant – Liverpool Store (Fixed-Term, 12 Months)
About the Role
Our store teams are the warm, reassuring faces that customers turn to for incredible product insight, expert advice, and trust. From personal shopping experiences and car seat consultations to in-store parent-to-be events, our amazing team ensures parents are guided through magical moments—whether it’s choosing a first pram, cot, or outfit for baby’s 1st birthday.
As a Sales Consultant/Assistant, you’ll be the heart of our business, creating those cherished experiences that families will remember forever.
Join Us at Mamas & Papas (Liverpool)
We’re growing our team and looking for exceptional Sales Assistants to join us on a fixed-term, 12-month contract at our Liverpool store in the New Mersey Shopping Park (Speke Road, L24 8QB).
This is a 20-hour per week role, spread across 5 days, including flexible shifts (e.g., Saturdays, Sundays, or a combination). (We’re happy to discuss shift patterns with you!)
Ideal candidates will have experience in:
- Retail assistance or sales
- Customer service (especially if you make magical customer moments a priority!)
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every parent feels supported, informed, and delighted.
- Provide deep product knowledge—helping customers choose the right items for their little ones.
- Engage in in-store events, consulting on car seats, prams, and baby-related products.
- Drive sales through warm, friendly interactions and recommending the best solutions.
- Maintain a neat, organised shop environment and contribute to seasonal promotions.
- Offer post-sale support (e.g., reassuring parents about functionalities like car seat safety).
- Collaborate with the team to create positive in-store experiences for all customers.

Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service (a must!).
- A passionate and empathetic attitude—your warmth makes all the difference.
- The ability to work flexibly (covering holidays including weekends).
- A love for helping families and providing expert guidance.
- Willingness to contribute to in-store events and promote brand values.
