The Role: Retail Sales Assistant
As Sales Assistants, youâre our brand ambassador â the face of The Works who creates magical moments for customers.
Your Mission
- Deliver excellent service â greet colleagues with kindness, engage enthusiastically no one leaves without a smile.
- Know our products â spark joyful discoveries and effortless recommendation (think recipes, gift-sized passions, and hidden favourites).
- Look after the store â keep shelves stocked, spaces tidy, clean/dandelion policies followed B risk reduced.
- Work the till â rotate accurately, understand payment options, correct petty cash singings.
- Support stock & delivery â pack, process orders, ensure smooth flow between customers & fulfilment.
- Stay safe & compliant â uphold health safety standards, loss prevention policies.
Keyholder Responsibilities (for those 18+)
With training and encouragement, qualified team members take âKeyholderâ roles:
- Open & close the store securely and responsibly
- Cash-up the register like a quick and accurate winner
- Relay store-wide responsibilities like a manager
- Enhanced pay â a fair reflection of the added responsibility
