What You’ll Do
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’re the face of our brand on the shop floor.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver friendly, efficient service and spark meaningful conversations with every customer.
- Help customers discover products (new hobbies, gifts, or creative rediscoveries).
- Maintain store standards for tidiness, stocking, and safety.
- Operate tills accurately and handle transactions professionally.
- Support deliveries, stockroom organisation, and product availability.
- Follow health & safety and loss prevention protocols.
If you hold keys (over 18):
- Open/close the store securely.
- Handle enhanced cash and security tasks.
- Take on temporary managerial responsibilities (training provided).
Skills That Matter:
✔ Passion for customer service and great recommendations. ✔ Strong communication—you’ll connect with customers of all ages. ✔ Team player with a positive and helpful attitude. ✔ Reliable and flexible for mixed shifts (including evenings/weekends). ✔ Experience with cash handling and POS systems (hospitality/customer service desirable). ✔ Problem-solving in fast-paced environments. ✔ For Keyholders: Experience with opening/closing duties (training provided).
