The Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll drive customer engagement, embody Vuori’s brand ethos, and contribute to a dynamic team that thrives on sales, service, and creativity. This role is all about forging connections, delivering exceptional experiences, and owning your impact on customer satisfaction and business success.


What You’ll Do

Customer Experience & Sales

  • Create memorable, meaningful interactions with every customer.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships by understanding and fulfilling individual needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure each customer receives personalised, outstanding service.
  • Greet customers with timeliness, authenticity, and enthusiasm.
  • Manage fittings: prepare fitting rooms, source sizes quickly, and provide honest, expert advice on fit and style.
  • Be the business: hit individual and team sales goals in a competitive environment.
  • Stay ahead of trends by researching fashion and activewear to become a customer expert.
  • Complement customer-facing tasks with support for in-store projects while keeping service top ofmind.

Operations

  • Impeccably stock and organise the sales floor daily to support high visibility and product turnover.
  • Partner with management on inventory management, ensuring availability of key items.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards—floors, fitting rooms, restrooms—every shift.
  • Execute discreet yet accurate cash control, including deposits, petty cash reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Implement and consistently uphold all merchandising, visual, and store presentation directives.
  • Present a neat, well-curated floor that reflects Vuori’s desired retail aesthetic at all times.
  • Proactively identify product concerns, damage, or stock issues, and communicate solutions promptly.

Who You Are

  • Skill in prioritising multiple tasks simultaneously, from stocking to customer consultations.
  • A knack for learning quickly—you’ll be introduced to new methods and processes regularly.
  • Exceptional organisational and follow-through skills to maintain a smooth operation.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities that shine in 1:1 interactions.
  • High autonomy, willingness to own outcomes, and drive to take initiative in the business.
  • Eagerness to skill-up, as well as act on feedback to grow into your role.
