Introduction:

Little Peas Pram and Car Seat Centre in Dunfermline are looking for someone to join our team who has an interest in the Car Seat and Pram Industry and wants to help us grow as we expand our offering of baby products, in store and online. We’re a very friendly, close team and are looking for someone to join us in a role, predominantly on our shop floor.

About the Role:

The role will primarily be focussed in our child car seat sales area, working directly with customers to ascertain their needs, with a view to selling them a car seat to meet those needs. While the immediate and primary focus of this role will be in car seats, we would anticipate that any successful candidate could find themself manoeuvring around the store to meet customer and store needs (in pram and accessories, etc). Because we're a 'small business', every member of our team covers almost every aspect of our business's day-to-day running, from welcoming customers, to taking calls or receiving deliveries etc. We have an extremely positive and non-aggressive sales approach, with absolute focus on the customer experience and service, and as a result, the store is an extremely positive environment to work in.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Due to the nature of our products, and bearing in mind that we do receive deliveries as well as dispatch boxes daily, we do need a person that is physically capable to lift and carry these items where necessary.

Working Hours:

Weekends are definitely our busiest time, and while we have a level of flexibility in the number of days / hours available, we do need someone that is able to work most weekends, within their hours. This role will require a minimum of one day per week to be worked at the weekend, and an additional 1-3 days to be within the 7-day week. We are happy to be flexible for the right candidate, though it's essential that we add support to the store at the weekend, though can cater the role to accommodate somebody that's looking for 2-4 days per week. Our working hours are 10am til 5pm from Monday to Saturday and 12pm til 5pm on Sunday.
