Retail Sales Merchandiser – Chesterfield
Salary & Benefits:
- £27,840 per annum
- Company van (available for personal use)
- Fuel card with claimable rate (aligned with pump costs)
- Annual execution bonus: up to £800 (paid quarterly)
- Tax-free expense allowance: £520 per annum
Role Overview
Schwartz is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Merchandiser to cover districts including:
- Chesterfield
- Halfway
- Mosborough
- Clowne
- Staveley
- Worksop
- Retford
Hours:
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday (Wednesday offline)
- No Sunday working required, except for double time during Christmas
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and manage key store relationships with major supermarkets (Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons)
- Use technology to track stock availability and ensure execution success in stores
- Collect and distribute stock daily to maintain 100% product availability and compliance to store plans
- Take full inventory responsibility, including record-keeping and compliance
- Provide support to other brands within McCormick & Company
- Deliver top-notch service aligned with customer and business needs

Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK driver’s license
- Right to work in the UK
- UK bank account
- Fluent in English

- Independent worker who thrives on road-based, hands-on tasks

- Physically capable of carrying out daily task demands
Desirable:
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or hospitality (e.g., bar/hospitality staff)
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and proactive approach
- Experience shadowing or working with store sales teams
