Retail Security Officer – Tesco Boothferry, Goole
Location: Tesco Boothferry, Goole
Pay Rate: £13.47 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 43 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Sunday (as per rota)
About The Role
Kingdom Group is looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Boothferry, Goole.
This full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in creating a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and colleagues. You will provide a visible security presence, deter criminal activity, respond to incidents, and support the wider store team while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and visible security presence within the store.
- Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
- Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
- Carry out regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
- Support store colleagues and customers when required.
- Complete accurate incident reports and security documentation.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining security standards.

What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence (essential).
- Own transport required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, confident, and reliable approach.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Good attention to detail and sound judgement.
- Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
