Retail Security Officer.
Retail Security Officer (Customer Service & Crime Prevention)
Salary: £14.75 per hour Shift Availability: Various shifts (discussed at interview)
About the Role
Mitie is seeking a Retail Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a safe, crime-free shopping environment for both customers and colleagues.
Key Requirement:
- SIA Licence: A current SIA licence or certificates is preferred but training may be provided in some cases.
Vetting & Compliance
- Full Employment Check: A 5-year checkable employment/education history is a must-have.
- Failure to comply may result in your offer being withdrawn or employment termination.
Main Duties
- Provide industry-leading customer service
- Deter violence and public order offences
- Conduct store patrols
- Use CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
- Liaise with store management and police/crime partnerships
- Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety and operational security
