Retail Security Officer.
Retail Security Officer – £14.75 per hour
Various Shifts (to be discussed at interview)
About the Role
Mitie is seeking an outstanding Retail Security Officer to deliver unparalleled customer service while ensuring a welcoming, safe and crime-free shopping environment for customers and colleagues.
Ideally, you will already hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates, but training can be provided in some cases.
⚠️ Important Note on Vetting: A full 5-year checkable work/education history is required. Failure to provide this may result in the withdrawal of an offer or termination of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service as the face of security in retail
- Deter violence and public order offences effectively
- Conduct detailed store patrols to monitor safety
- Use CCTV systems to prevent crime and reduce stock loss
- Maintain close liaison with store management on security matters
- Work cooperatively with police and crime partnerships to support local safety initiatives
- Wear Body-Worn CCTV to enhance colleague and customer protection
