Pay Rate: £13.72 per hour
Hours: 16 Hours Per Week, Friday and Saturday, 15:00 - 23:00
Requirement: Valid SIA Licence essential
About The Role
Kingdom Group is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Bishops Stortford, CM23 4DD.
As a key member of the security team, you will help create a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operation of the store.
Shift Pattern
This is a Fixed 16-hour Per Week Position Working
- Friday and Saturday, 15:00 - 23:00
Flexibility may be required to support the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and highly visible security presence within the store.
- Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
- Respond to incidents calmly, professionally, and in line with company procedures.
- Carry out regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
- Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
- Deliver excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
- Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.
- Work closely with store management and colleagues to support operational requirements.

What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervision or Security Guarding).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, confident, and reliable approach.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
