Retail Security Officer – Various Shifts (£14.75/hour)

Job Overview
Mitie is seeking a Retail Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe shopping environment, free from fear of crime, for both customers and colleagues.
A current SIA licence (or certificates) is preferred, though Mitie can provide training in some cases.
Vetting Requirement
A full 5-year checkable employment/education history is mandatory. Failure to provide this may result in your offer being withdrawn or employment ending immediately.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Deter violence and public order offences
- Conduct routine store patrols
- Use CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
- Liaise with store management teams
- Work with Police and crime partnerships to foster a collaborative approach and reduce in-store crime
- Wear a Body Worn CCTV device to enhance safety and reduce incidents
