Retail Security Officer – Various Shifts

Location: Various locations (shifts to be discussed at interview) Pay: £13.23 per hour (contracted hours)
Job Overview
Mitie is looking for an exceptional Retail Security Officer who can deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe, crime-free shopping environment for customers and colleagues.
A current SIA licence or SIA Certificates would be beneficial (training may be provided in some cases).
Security Note: A full 5-year checkable employment/education history is essential. Failure to provide this may result in offer withdrawal or termination of employment.
Main Duties
- Deliver industry-leading customer service
- Deter violence and public order offences
- Conduct patrols of the store
- Monitor and utilise CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
- Liaise with store management teams and safety partners
- Escalate issues to Police/law enforcement when appropriate
- Wear body-worn CCTV to enhance safety and reduce crime
