Retail Security Officer – LIDL Cribbs Triangle (BS10 7TA)

Location: LIDL Cribbs Triangle, Wyck Beck Road, Bristol, BS10 7TA

Hours: 31.5 hours per week

Pay: £13.88

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday
  • Tuesday
  • Saturday

Overtime: Additional shifts available across other LIDL stores in the Bristol area.

About The Role

We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at LIDL Cribbs Triangle.

This role plays a key part in providing a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues while helping to reduce loss and support the store's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the store.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers where required.
  • Deter and prevent theft, fraud and anti-social behaviour.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and respond appropriately.
  • Complete accurate incident reports using company reporting systems.
  • Liaise professionally with store management, colleagues and emergency services when required.
  • Maintain a visible and reassuring security presence throughout each shift.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and professional.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.

Please note: Due to the location of this store and limited public transport links, applicants should ideally have access to their own vehicle or live within a reasonable commuting distance of the site.
