Retail Security Officer
Location: Romford
Salary: £13.45 ph
Job Type: This is a part-time position (32 hours contract), with the opportunity to take on additional shifts and overtime where available.
Mitie Security is looking for a dedicated and adaptable Relief Security Officer to join our team. This role offers variety, covering a range of security environments, including retail, corporate, and logistical sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide security cover across multiple locations as required.
- Conduct regular patrols, access control, and incident response.
- Deliver excellent customer service and act as a deterrent to potential security threats.
- Ensure a high standard of security and safety at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding/Door Supervisor/CCTV beneficial).
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
- Own transport is essential, with the ability to travel up to 40 miles as an Area Relief Officer.
- Strong communication and observational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
