Retail Support Security Officer – Tesco Partnership
Location: Tesco, Clay Cross, S45 9NU
Pay Rate: £13.47 per hour
Hours: 32+ hours per week, working 4 days out of 7
Shifts
- Tuesday: 15:30 – 00:00
- Thursday: 07:00 – 15:00
- Friday: 07:00 – 15:00
- Saturday: 07:00 – 15:00
- Additional shifts available as required
Weekly Pay – Every Friday
About The Role
Kingdom Group, a trusted partner of Tesco, is recruiting a Retail Support Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Clay Cross. This position offers consistent hours, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career within the security industry.
As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and colleagues while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular store patrols
- Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
- Monitor premises and respond appropriately to incidents
- Complete accurate reports and incident records
- Support store colleagues and customers professionally
- Manage challenging situations calmly and confidently
- Help maintain a safe and welcoming retail environment
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (essential)
- Full 5-year checkable employment history
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and confident approach
- Good observation skills and attention to detail
- Previous security experience is desirable but not essential
