Overview
Are you an experienced, high calibre and immaculately presented Security Officer who possess an abundance of self-pride? The Operational Security and Protective Division at Bradburys Group is currently recruiting experienced Retail Security Officers for positions in Manchester.
Responsibilities
Following an induction, on-boarding and training schedule, you will be required to:
- Provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all
- Demonstrate high customer-facing skills whilst remaining approachable and polite at all times
- Maintain daily security events/activity logs
- Enhance the client’s brand identity and reputation
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety within the specific work environment
- Liaise professionally with the police, client, management, visitors and contractors
- Lock/unlock buildings
- Identify and report any health and safety hazards
- Manage enquiries
- Submit reports and updates to operations management
- Respond to alarm activations
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of five years experience within the security industry
- Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence in Front-line Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection
- Five-year checkable work history
- Proof of Right to work in the UK
- Excellent command of English communication skills (written, oral, email)
- Immaculate appearance and high standards of personal hygiene
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt at all times
- Vigilant and alert at all times
- Excellent attention to detail and a natural investigative mindset
- Confidence in your ability to manage difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner
- Excellent time-keeping/time management

Desirable But Not Essential
- SIA licence Public Space Surveillance (CCTV)
- Fire Marshal Qualification
- Full UK Driving licence
- Emergency First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid
Uniform provided.
Core Hours
- Monday – Friday: 09.00 – 17.00
- Alternate Saturdays: 10.00-18.00
