Retail Security Relief Officer
Retail Security Relief Officer – Tesco Partnership
Location: Scarborough (covering Scarborough to Bridlington)
Pay: £14.00 per hour Pay Frequency: Weekly (every Friday)
Hours
- Weekly Hours: 0–48 hours (in line with rota requirements)
- Shifts: Varied start and finish times
About The Role
Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is seeking professional and reliable Retail Security Relief Officers to support stores across the Scarborough and Bridlington area.
This is a flexible relief position, ideal for individuals who can adapt to varying shifts and locations. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues while representing the Kingdom brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the store to ensure safety and security
- Provide a strong and visible deterrent against theft and anti-social behaviour
- Monitor store activity and respond to incidents effectively
- Complete accurate reports and maintain clear records
- Support Tesco colleagues and contribute to smooth store operations
- Handle challenging situations calmly, professionally, and confidently

Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervision / Security Guarding)
- Full 5-year checkable work history
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to an own vehicle
- Willingness to travel between Scarborough and Bridlington stores
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and confident approach
- Good observation skills and sound judgement
- Previous security experience desirable but not essential
