Retail Security Relief Officer – Tesco Partnership

Location: Lincoln Area (Covering multiple sites within 10–15 mile radius)

Pay: £13.47 per hour / Weekly Pay (every Friday)

Hours: Relief role – flexible hours (full-time not guaranteed initially)

Shifts: Monday–Sunday, rota-based (early, late, weekends & bank holidays)

Requirement: Must hold a valid SIA Licence and have own transport

About The Role

Kingdom Group, a key partner to Tesco, is recruiting for a Retail Security Relief Officer to support multiple stores across the Lincoln area.

This relief role involves providing cover for holidays, sickness, and absences across various Tesco locations. You will play a key part in maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering excellent customer service.

We are looking for confident, professional, and reliable individuals who can offer flexibility and a strong visible security presence.

Store Locations Covered

This Role Includes Travel Between The Following Stores

Lincoln – LN2 4QQ High Street – LN2 1HW Brayford – LN1 1BN St Marks – LN5 7AA Lincoln 1 – LN5 8HS Various other stores across the Lincoln area

Shift Pattern

Early Shifts: 07:00 – 15:00 Late Shifts: 15:00 – Close (00:00) Must be fully flexible, including weekends and bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

Conducting regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment Acting as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour Monitoring premises and responding to incidents and emergencies Completing accurate reports and recording observations Supporting store management and colleagues as required Delivering excellent customer service and assisting customers where needed

What We’re Looking For

Valid SIA Licence (essential) Full 5-year checkable work history Own transport and ability to travel between sites Strong communication and customer service skills Professional, confident, and reliable approach Good attention to detail and sound judgement Ability to remain calm under pressure Previous security experience desirable but not essential

This is a relief position – hours will vary based on business needs Full flexibility is required due to varying shift patterns Opportunity to progress into a full-time role over time Attendance and punctuality are essential You will be required to provide a full five-year employment history Pay is provided weekly via HIVE 360 Payroll Services You will receive a contract of employment separately
