Retail Shift Manager – Full-Time Hourly Contract (Various Shifts)

£15.45 per hour | 30-35 days holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Enhanced family leave

  • Leading team motivation and applying Leadership Principles
  • Overseeing shop operations, delegates day-to-day tasks, ensures smooth functions
  • Handling financial processes, stock refreshment (product freshness), and inventory to guarantee seamless, customer-focused service

By stepping up, you’ll develop leadership skills for your career while being rewarded with: ✔ A competitive hourly pay rate (+ £2.00/hr for Bank Holidays, £3.50/hr for Night Shifts) ✔ A generous benefits package (pension, holiday, Lidl discount & family leave)

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Motivate and support staff, aligning with our Leadership and Company Principles
    • Swiftly resolve problems and delegate effectively
  • Store Operations
    • Manage day-to-day store operations independently
    • Maintain freshness standards, cash flows, inventory, and stock levels
    • Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager or Deputy Store Manager
  • Customer Success
    • Deliver a consistently excellent customer experience
  • Team Development
    • Inspire colleagues and improve operations through proactivity and encouragement
