Retail Shift Manager

Retail Shift Manager – Lidl

£15.45 – £15.95 per hour | 16–35 hour contract | Shifts: 5am–11pm | 30–35 days holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Enhanced family leave

As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you’ll help us maintain our high standards every day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Motivating your team and fostering collaboration
  • Overseeing daily store operations in the absence of senior managers
  • Ensuring smooth inventory, stock, cash processes, and customer service
  • Maintaining the fast-paced, efficient environment Lidl customers deserve

In return, you’ll receive competitive pay, including:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support your team using Lidl’s Leadership and Company Principles
  • Delegate tasks effectively and resolve problems swiftly
  • Create a positive, high-performing work environment where colleagues can succeed
  • Manage store operations, including cash handling, stock control, and freshness audits, when senior managers are unavailable
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every shopper has a great experience
