Retail Shift Manager
** Retail Shift Manager – Lidl (30-Hour Contract)**
Summary
- Rate: £15.45 – £15.95 per hour
- Contract: 30-hour regular contract
- Holiday: 30–35 days (pro rata)
- Discount: 10% in-store discount

About the Role

Store Operations:
- Manage store functions in the absence of the Store Manager or Deputy Store Manager
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including freshness checks, cash handling, and inventory/stock management

- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience for every customer

- Take quick action when issues arise, adapting to challenges with confidence
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure retail environment
- Delegation & Motivation: Skilled at assigning tasks and inspiring your colleagues
- Customer Focus: Friendly, adaptable, and resilient under pressure
- Work Ethic: Proactive and encouraging, committed to team development and store success
