Retail Shift Manager – Lidl

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop your team: Embed our Leadership & Company Principles, motivating colleagues and fostering a high-performance culture
  • Resolve issues and delegate effectively: Quicken problem-solving while empowering your team to share responsibility
  • Create a culture of success: Nurture an inclusive environment where colleagues and operations grow together
  • Take operational ownership: Cover for the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager in their absence
  • Manage critical store functions:
    • Ensure freshness standards are upheld
    • Handle cash processing, inventory, and stock management smoothly
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience: Make every customer visit memorable and consistent with Lidl’s reputation

Requirements

You’re the right fit if you:

  • Have experience leading teams in high-pressure, fast-moving retail environments to hit targets
  • Can delegate tasks clearly and motivate your team
  • Stay calm under pressure and maintain a friendly, patient approach
  • Are passionate about thriving as a core part of the Store Team
  • Proactively support colleagues’ development and optimise store operations
