Responsibilities
- Lead and develop your team: Embed our Leadership & Company Principles, motivating colleagues and fostering a high-performance culture
- Resolve issues and delegate effectively: Quicken problem-solving while empowering your team to share responsibility
- Create a culture of success: Nurture an inclusive environment where colleagues and operations grow together
- Take operational ownership: Cover for the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager in their absence
- Manage critical store functions:
- Ensure freshness standards are upheld
- Handle cash processing, inventory, and stock management smoothly
- Deliver exceptional customer experience: Make every customer visit memorable and consistent with Lidl’s reputation
Requirements
You’re the right fit if you:
- Have experience leading teams in high-pressure, fast-moving retail environments to hit targets
- Can delegate tasks clearly and motivate your team
- Stay calm under pressure and maintain a friendly, patient approach
- Are passionate about thriving as a core part of the Store Team
- Proactively support colleagues’ development and optimise store operations
