Retail Shift Manager – Lidl

About the Role

As a Retail Shift Manager, you’ll ensure our shop maintains its high standards every day. This includes motivating your team, managing the shop floor, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Your Responsibilities
- Motivate and support your team, aligning with Lidl’s Leadership and Company Principles
- Solve problems quickly and delegate tasks efficiently
- Foster a collaborative environment where colleagues can thrive
- Manage store operations and oversee colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager or Deputy Store Manager
- Ensure freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management run smoothly
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience with every visit
Requirements
- Experience in leading a team in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to delegate tasks and motivate colleagues
- Remain patient, friendly, and calm under pressure
- A passion for being a key part of the store team and driving success
- A proactive, encouraging mindset to support colleagues’ development and store operations
