Role: Retail Space Planner (RETAIL MULTI BRANDS)

Location: Hammersmith, LONDON

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

Contract Type: 4 days office / field & 1 day WFH

Salary: £35,000 per annum plus competitive bonus & benefits

Benefits: Enhanced Holiday, Quarterly Socials & Thriving Business

Who We Are:

At Agile Retail, we operate stores, build brands and support some of the world's most recognisable retail businesses. We are looking for a Retail Space Planner to sit at the centre of our retail operation - taking ownership of visual merchandising, retail layouts and space planning across stores, fit outs, pop-ups and branded retail environments.

This is not a traditional visual merchandising role. No two days are the same and the right person will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment where creativity, commercial awareness, problem solving and strong execution genuinely matter.

The Retail Space Planner Role:

Sitting in the HO team you'll be responsible for planning, developing and supporting retail layouts that are both visually impactful and commercially effective across a variety of retail projects / brands.

  • Own the planning and development of retail layouts, planograms and merchandising solutions across stores, pop-ups and branded retail environments
  • Interpret client briefs and translate them into effective retail layouts and space plans
  • Optimise retail space, customer flow and fixture placement to maximise commercial performance
  • Collaborate with project managers, creative teams, production teams and clients to ensure brand standards are maintained
  • Support retail rollouts, seasonal updates, store refreshes and new store openings
  • Work closely with production and build teams to ensure layouts are practical and deliverable onsite
  • Resolve layout and merchandising challenges during live installations
  • Maintain accurate drawings, layouts and merchandising documentation throughout every project
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve retail layouts, customer journey and merchandising effectiveness

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
