Retail Space Planner - Central London – Full-Time / Onsite

Who Are Jewells?

At Jewells, we're redefining modern jewellery retail. We create trend-led, high-quality jewellery and exceptional piercing experiences that make style accessible without compromising on quality. Our mission is simple: to help customers look and feel their best through beautifully curated collections, expert piercing and an inspiring in-store experience.

Headquartered in London, we're a fast-growing start-up retail business with ambitious expansion plans across the UK and beyond. We're building a brand that's commercially driven, customer obsessed and constantly evolving. Everything we do is focused on creating standout stores, exceptional customer experiences and a business that challenges the traditional jewellery market.

Role: Retail Space Planner

Role Purpose

The Retail Space Planner is responsible for translating our commercial strategy into executable store layouts and fixture plans. This role ensures every store displays the right products, in the right quantities, in the right locations to maximise sales, productivity and customer experience.

Working closely with Buying, Merchandising, Retail Operations and Store Development, you will create detailed planograms, space plans and store maps that optimise category mix, bestseller visibility, stock capacity and replenishment efficiency.

This is a highly analytical role that combines commercial thinking with visual merchandising principles. Success is measured by sales productivity, execution accuracy and operational simplicity rather than aesthetics alone.

Key Responsibilities

Space Planning & Store Layouts

  • Create detailed planograms for every fixture across the business.
  • Design fixture layouts that maximise sales and customer flow.
  • Allocate space based on commercial performance rather than opinion.
  • Determine optimal category adjacencies across stores.
  • Plan new store layouts alongside Store Development.
  • Update layouts as new ranges launch throughout the year.

Commercial Fixture Planning

  • Determine the correct percentage allocation of each category across fixtures.
  • Ensure bestseller products receive appropriate visibility and space.
  • Allocate space according to:
    • Sales performance
    • Stock turn
    • Margin
    • Capacity
    • Strategic priorities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
