Retail Store Manager

Retail Store Manager – Jollyes Pets Chesterfield | Salary: £29,000 - £30,500 p.a. + bonus potential of up to £5k p.a. *


About the Role

Managing the daily operations of our Chesterfield store, including team management, store standards, stock management, and customer service to pet parents. Responsibilities

Store Manager responsibilities include:

  • Leading Team & Culture: Set standards for cleanliness, customer service, and positive workplace culture aligned with Jollyes Values (Genuine, Wise, Eager, Focused, Together).
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, KPIs, financial performance, and gross margin success.
  • Pet Welfare: Prioritise pet care, responsible ownership, and sustainable practices.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service, showcase product knowledge (with on-the-job training).
  • People Management: Recruit, train, develop teams, and ensure engagement and succession planning.
  • Compliance: Maintain health & safety, legal standards, and regional communication alignment.
  • Flexibility: Occasional out-of-hours or cross-store support required (own transport/UK driving license mandatory).
