Retail Supervisor – Screwfix

As a Retail Supervisor, you’ll be a valued member of the team, always putting the customer first. Whether you’re managing the front of house, ensuring smooth operations, or maintaining high standards in stock management, you’ll be instrumental in delivering an exceptional experience.
Operating Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 7am to 8pm
- Saturday: 7am to 6pm
- Sunday: 9am to 4pm
About the Role
What’s it like to be a Retail Supervisor?
- Hosting excellence – Lead by example as a team manager, ensuring your store runs smoothly and customers leave satisfied.
- Customer first – Guide customers toward the right products, resolve questions, and create a seamless shopping experience.
- Store standards – Manage cash reconciliations, handle customer queries, maintain audit compliance, and keep stock levels optimised.
- Part of the team – Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain store pride while enjoying a positive, fun environment.

Responsibilities
Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service while keeping store operations efficient.
- Leading the team – Hosting in-store and setting the standard for customer service and store productivity.
- Customer-focused sales and support – Translating top-notch service into profitable, repeat sales.
- Store compliance & efficiency – Ensuring smooth operations through cash reconciliations, stock checks, and regulatory adherence.
- Team development – Supporting and motivating colleagues to excel in their roles.
- Maintaining high standards – Keeping the store clean, well-stocked, and fully compliant with company policies.
Requirements
The ideal Retail Supervisor must be:
- An experienced supervisor or duty manager with strong leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional at customer service, able to convert great service into sales.
- Inquisitive and growth-minded, always looking for ways to improve.
- Passionate about the business and eager to drive results.
- Friendly, flexible, reliable, honest, and hardworking – with a can-do attitude.
