Key Details
- Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week
- Pay: £13.61 per hour (minimum £530 per week)
- Holiday: 6 weeks (30 days per year)

About the Role
We are looking to recruit a permanent full-time retail supervisor for our shop in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This is a 5-day role, generally starting each day at 7 AM, with flexible shifts required.
As a retail supervisor, you will be an essential part of the management team, supporting the shop manager in:
- Ensuring an efficient retail operation
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Supporting a small team of retail assistants
Responsibilities
Your role will include:
- Taking full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, including:
- Ensuring customers receive top-notch care
- Processing deliveries efficiently
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy store
- Handling key operational tasks: opening/closing the shop, cash management, order processing, and team development
- Monitoring and controlling operational costs, including:
- Shrinkage (loss due to theft/damage)
- Waste reduction
- Payroll management

Requirements
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a friendly, proactive, and hard-working attitude
- Are strong ‘people persons’, capable of building positive working relationships with team members
- Are trustworthy, reliable, and dependable – this role requires full commitment and availability
- Have previously held leadership/management positions in retail or a similar industry (though we welcome new talent too!)
- Are willing to:
- Undergo a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland)
- Disclose any previous or unspent convictions (employment subject to a satisfactory check)
