Retail Supervisor - Full Time
Retail Supervisor Position – Farmfoods, Greenwood Avenue, Hull
Hours: 39 hours per week, across 5 consecutive days (typically Mon-Fri), starting at 7:00 AM.
Pay: £13.61 per hour, guaranteeing a minimum of £530 per week. Overtime opportunities may be available.

About the Role
We are seeking a retail supervisor for our shop on Greenwood Avenue, Hull. This is a permanent full-time (FTSV – Permanent Full-Time Supervisor) role, requiring flexibility across shifts, including weekends.
The supervisor will play a key role in supporting the manager to lead the team effectively, ensuring the shop operates efficiently and delivers outstanding customer service. Within these responsibilities, you’ll manage both operational tasks and team supervision.
Responsibilities
As a Retail Supervisor, you will:
- Be a central part of the management team, assisting in leading the shop operations.
- Assign and supervise the team of retail assistants, ensuring peak performance.
- Take full responsibility for the shop when the manager is unavailable:
- Ensure customer service excellence at all times.
- Efficiently manage deliveries and shop routines (e.g., stock rotation, clearing).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment in accordance with company standards.
- Handle opening and closing duties, including cash management.
- Place stock orders to ensure product availability.
- Oversee operational costs, focusing on minimising:
- Inventory shrinkage (loss through theft, damage, or error).
- Product waste and inefficiencies.
- Conduct payroll-related tasks, including timelines for hours booked by staff.
