Retail Supervisor - Part Time
Location: Yardley, West Midlands
Hours: 20 per week (including weekend shifts) Pay: £13.61 per hour (guaranteed minimum of 20 hours = £272 per week)
About the Role
We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Yardley, West Midlands. This is a permanent part-time position with a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities
As one of our retail supervisors, you will:
- Support the management team in running an efficient shop and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Take full responsibility for shop operations in the manager’s absence, including:
- Ensuring customers are well-served
- Handling deliveries and maintaining a safe, clean environment
- Overseeing shop routines
- Open and close the shop, manage cash handling, place orders, and develop your retail assistant team.
- Monitor operational costs, including shutdownage, waste, and payroll.

Requirements
- A friendly, proactive, and hardworking attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills— able to build rapport with colleagues and customers.
- Reliability and trustworthiness as you’ll manage a small team and customers.
- Experience as a supervisor or team leader in retail is preferred but not essential— we welcome first-time managers.
- Background check required (DBS check for England/Wales or Disclosure Scotland for Scotland, if applicable).
