Retail Team Member – Daylesford Organic, Notting Hill

About the Role
As a Retail Team Member at Daylesford Organic, Notting Hill, you will be part of a beautifully curated organic store offering fresh produce daily from the farm, alongside a welcoming café serving seasonal dishes and food to go.
Working on the retail floor, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, sharing your knowledge of our organic products, and supporting the smooth day-to-line running of the store. Through thoughtful service and attention to detail, you’ll help bring Daylesford’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and conscious living to life for every customer.
Demographics & Commitment
- Salary: £13.15 per hour plus tronc and paid weekly
- Hours: 32 hours per week (including weekends)
Responsibilities
- Deliver genuine, attentive customer service—welcome customers, share product knowledge and offer thoughtful recommendations to create a memorable customer experience.
- Maintain beautifully presented retail spaces, ensuring shelves, displays, and back-of-house areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation.
- Replenish stock and manage product rotation, ensuring availability, freshness and quality at all times.
- Confidently operate tills and process transactions accurately—payments, returns, and exchanges—following cash-handling procedures.
- Support visual merchandising through seasonal displays, promotions, and storytelling that bring our products and brand values to life.
- Live and breathe our purpose by supporting positive social and environmental change, contributing to our journey as a certified B Corp.
- Inspire customers, suppliers and colleagues to live and work more consciously, helping create a lasting, positive impact.

Skills & Experience Required
- A genuine passion for food, organic produce, sustainability, and the Daylesford Organic ethos
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles (advantageous)
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and an elevated guest experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage with customers
- Good spoken English and a professional, presentable appearance reflecting the Daylesford brand
- A positive, friendly and team-focused attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling fresh produce, stock presentation and merchandising
- Comfortable operating tills and handling transactions accurately
- A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to support across different areas of the farm shop when required
- An interest in artisan food, seasonal produce, and quality retail products, with a willingness to learn about product provenance
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy trading periods
