You will play a key role in supporting the daily execution of Transport Operations here at Hotel Chocolat. This is a highly task-orientated role, centred on ensuring that drivers are fully prepared, loads are ready for departure and all despatch processes are completed to a high standard.

This is a fast-paced, early morning environment providing visibility across our transport, warehouse and operations teams, whilst continuously playing a key role in ensuring that all vehicles depart on time, fully compliant and with complete and accurate documentation.

This role will operate on a shift pattern of 04:00am to 12:00pm (noon), Monday to Friday

Salary

up to £30,000.00 per annum (dependent on experience)

Benefits

As well as a competitive salary and a range of company benefits, you’ll receive 50% discount on all products, and a 70% discount for you and your guests when you stay at our Rabot Estate hideaway on the paradise island of Saint Lucia.

Location

The on-site location for this role is at our Distribution Centre ‘Beta’, in Harpole, Northampton. We opened the doors to our impressive Distribution Centre – all 429,107 square feet of it - in October 2022. You will find us just off Junction 16 of the M1.

What you’ll be doing…

Driver pre-briefs

  • Conduct daily pre-briefs with drivers prior to departure.
  • Clearly communicate routes, delivery schedules, and any site-specific instructions.
  • Highlight any operational updates, delays, or customer requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
