RAC has an exciting opportunity for a highly driven and collaborative Retention Manager to join our Consumer Roadside division on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of retention performance and proposition delivery for our Consumer membership base. You'll play a central role in understanding member behaviour, identifying opportunities to improve retention and revenue, and delivering meaningful changes that enhance the member proposition and experience. Working within a supportive, fast-moving environment, you'll have the autonomy to make an impact while developing your commercial and leadership skills as part of a high-profile team.

What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of retention performance for a defined area of our Consumer base, helping to reduce churn and improve revenue outcomes.
  • Use insight, performance data and customer trends to identify risks, opportunities and actions that support commercial targets.
  • Produce and present clear weekly trading updates, delivering a compelling view of performance, key drivers and recommended actions.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of retention initiatives, ensuring changes are implemented effectively and deliver measurable results.
  • Work closely with Digital, Marketing, Pricing, Operations, Product and Finance teams to coordinate activity and drive successful outcomes.
  • Develop a strong understanding of your portfolio area, becoming a subject matter expert who can confidently diagnose issues and recommend improvements.
  • Support forecasting, business case development and performance reporting, helping to ensure robust commercial decision-making.
  • Build trusted relationships across the organisation, influencing stakeholders and maintaining momentum in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong analytical and commercial capability, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insight into action.
  • Experience working in a commercially focused role with accountability for performance, customer outcomes or revenue delivery.
  • Confidence presenting findings, influencing stakeholders and building relationships across multiple teams and levels.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance commercial objectives and member needs.
  • Experience delivering change initiatives and coordinating activity across several functions.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to prioritise effectively and operate at pace.
  • Experience within financial services, subscription or membership-based environments would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Location | Working Pattern | Salary

Based in our Bradley Stoke, Bristol office with hybrid working. 2 office days & 3 days remote. This is a full-time permanent role.
