Returns Assistant

As a Returns Assistant, you will be an enthusiastic yet methodical person, capable of dealing with the daily processing of Returns tasks. Also, the role would include supporting Quality Control and Rework requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Physically processing returned goods from customers and establishing if goods are faulty for scrap, good for show, or returning to stock.
  • Utilising our ERP and Warehouse Management Systems to process returns and BOM items.
  • Physically processing returned goods back to stock utilising our barcode scanner system.
  • Re-packaging and labelling of products.
  • Building complete products from their component parts using a Bill of Materials (BOM) system.
  • Supporting Quality Control inspections if required.

The ideal candidate will be well organised and tidy in their work, and able to prioritise all aspects of the role. Basic computer skills are required, with experience of using handheld barcode scanners also useful. You must also have a keen eye for detail entering codes and matching accounts to ensure the items for that customer are processed correctly.

Hours

  • 8:00 – 5:15, Monday to Thursday
  • 8:00 - 2:00 Friday

The successful candidate will report directly to the Quality Control Manager and will be based in our dedicated Returns and rework areas within our warehouse. Staff who have previously applied would not be considered and an outstanding attendance record is preferable.
