About Gear4music

As one of the fastest-growing retailers of musical instruments and equipment, Gear4music is more than just a retailer; we’re a community of music enthusiasts. Our mission is to provide the best online shopping experience for our customers, and we’re always looking for passionate individuals to join our team.

Your Part in the Performance

You’ll be working hands-on with our amazing range of musical instruments, so a basic knowledge of music equipment (and the confidence to handle it carefully) is key. You’ll use your initiative to process products through the department, making sure everything is checked, handled, and moved with real attention to detail.

This is a fast-paced warehouse environment, so you’ll need to be comfortable being on your feet for long periods.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30 pm and Friday 8:00am - 4pm.

Your Skills & Experience: What We’re Looking For

We’ve got a good idea of what we need but we’re also big believers in potential. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences. So, if you’re interested but not sure you tick every box, apply anyway, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
