Revenue Assurance Officer – Authorisations

Location: Prestatyn, North Wales
Full time: 40hrs
Shifts: Flexible to work 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
Fixed Term contract until 22nd June 2027

We’re looking for a Revenue Assurance Officer – Authorisations to join our team in Prestatyn. This is a Fixed term Contract until June 2027

The department plays a key role in ensuring that every patient admission across our main facilities is supported by accurate, timely and compassionate authorisation management. The team oversees pre-authorisations, extended stays and ongoing updates with insurers, and works closely with clinical and operational colleagues to keep every patient journey running smoothly.

It’s a positive and supportive environment, with colleagues who take real pride in the impact they make each day. With a strong community feel at our Prestatyn site, hybrid working, onsite parking and regular collaboration with colleagues in London, it’s a place where you can grow, feel connected and play an important part in shaping how we deliver exceptional care.

Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. It’s this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor, we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Others may think this is just a role in the Revenue Assurance team, but to us, you’ll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.

What you’ll do

  • Contact and resolve pre authorisations for admissions and treatment meeting KPIs and compliance standards.
  • Check inhouse authorisations to ensure patient accounts are accurate and up to date throughout their stay.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Cycle Shared Service team to maintain smooth and efficient workflows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
